What This Error Means

The W06 error means the bike has detected low temperature battery operation protection.

This can happen if:

  • the ambient temperature is too low

  • the battery may be damaged

Possible Causes

Possible causes include:

  • low ambient temperature

  • battery warning or battery fault

Troubleshooting Steps

Step 1 – Stop Riding and Warm the Battery

Stop riding the bike.

If your battery is externally removable, remove the battery from the bike.

Place the battery in an environment between:

  • -20°C to 45°C

Leave the battery for approximately 2 hours before restarting the bike.

After waiting, reinstall the battery if removed and power the bike back on.

If the W06 error code clears:

  • the battery protection system was likely responding to low temperature conditions

  • continue monitoring the bike during normal use

If the W06 error code remains visible after the battery has warmed:

  • continue to Step 2

If the issue clears

The issue was likely caused by low ambient temperature affecting normal battery operation.

You can continue using the bike normally, but avoid storing or operating the bike in extreme cold conditions where possible.

If the issue remains

Continue to Step 2.

Step 2 – Check Whether the Error Persists

Turn the bike off completely.

Wait approximately 30 seconds.

Turn the bike back on and check whether the W06 error is still displayed.

If the error code remains after restarting:

  • stop using the bike

  • please contact our support team with the photos and videos listed below so we can review the next step

If the error code no longer appears:

  • monitor the bike during normal riding and charging

  • if the error returns repeatedly, contact support

If the issue clears

The battery protection system may have temporarily activated due to temperature conditions.

Continue monitoring the bike.

If the issue remains

Please contact support.

When To Contact Support

Please contact support if:

  • the W06 error remains after completing the steps above

  • the battery does not charge

  • the bike does not power on

  • the display does not turn on

  • the motor does not engage

  • there is visible damage

  • the issue started after water exposure, transport damage, impact, crash, modification, or third-party repair

  • you are unsure how to safely complete any step
