Scooter Does Not Power On

This means the scooter is not starting when the display power button is pressed.

Possible causes:

  • Battery charge is too low

  • Battery issue

  • Internal wiring connection issue

  • Controller issue

  • Display issue

  • Junction box issue

  • Display main cable issue

Step 1 – Charge the battery

Connect the charger and allow the battery to charge.

Then try turning the scooter on again.

If the scooter powers on

The battery may have been too low. Monitor the scooter.

If the scooter still does not power on

Continue to Step 2.

Scooter Only Powers On While Connected to the Charger

This may point to a battery issue.

Step 1 – Test power with the charger connected

Connect the charger and try turning the scooter on.

If the scooter turns on while connected to the charger

Disconnect the charger and try turning the scooter on again.

If the scooter does not turn on after the charger is disconnected

The battery may require further inspection. Contact support with a video showing the scooter powering on with the charger connected, then failing to power on once unplugged.

If the scooter turns on normally after disconnecting the charger

Monitor the scooter.

Scooter Still Does Not Power On After Charging

This may require further inspection of the battery output, wiring, controller, junction box, display, or display main cable.

Step 1 – Check for visible damage

Turn the scooter off and disconnect it from the charger.

Check any safely visible wiring, connectors, and the display cable for damage, loose plugs, bent pins, dirt, corrosion, or crushed wiring.

If you find visible damage

Do not ride the scooter. Contact support with clear photos.

If everything visible looks normal

Continue to Step 2.

Step 2 – Check for motor resistance

With the scooter powered off, carefully rotate the front and rear motors by hand.

If either motor has resistance

Do not ride the scooter.

This next step requires further inspection of the motor and controller. Please contact support with a video showing the motor resistance.

If both motors rotate normally

Continue to Step 3.

Step 3 – Check whether the lights work while the display is off

With the display off, press the headlight switch.

If the lights turn on

The display may require further inspection. Contact support with a video showing the lights working while the display does not power on.

If the lights do not turn on

This next step requires further inspection of the battery, internal wiring, controller, junction box, display, and display main cable. Please contact support with the photos/videos listed below.
