Kaabo Wolf Warrior X Plus 2026 – LT01 Drive System TroubleshootingUpdated 14 days ago
This article explains how to troubleshoot drive system issues on the Kaabo Wolf Warrior X Plus 2026 with the LT01 display.
Use this article if your scooter:
Does not cut motor power when braking
Keeps accelerating when braking
Powers on but the motors do not turn
Has one motor working and one motor not working
Has motor resistance
Has reduced range or the battery drains quickly
Before You Start
Please prepare:
Your order number
A photo or video of the issue
A photo of the display
Whether the scooter powers on
Whether the battery charges
Whether the motor engages
Whether the issue happened after riding, charging, storage, transport, crash, impact, rain, water exposure, modification, display replacement, added electronics, or third-party repair
Photos of visible damage, if any
Safety reminders:
Do not continue riding if the scooter keeps accelerating, does not cut motor power when braking, has motor resistance, visible wiring damage, smoke, burning smell, or water exposure.
Do not work on wiring while the scooter is powered on or charging.
Do not open sealed battery components.
Do not force connectors together.
Stop and contact support if unsure.
Brake Lever Does Not Cut Motor Power
This means the scooter may not be detecting the brake lever correctly.
Possible causes:
Brake lever fault
Loose wiring
Main cable issue
Step 1 – Lift the scooter safely
Lift the scooter so the wheels are off the ground.
Turn the display on.
Press the left brake lever and check whether the brake warning symbol appears on the display.
If the brake symbol appears
The left brake signal is being detected. Continue to Step 2.
If the brake symbol does not appear
The left brake signal may not be reaching the scooter.
This next step requires further inspection of the brake lever wiring and main cable. Please contact support with a video showing the left brake lever being pressed and the display not showing the brake symbol.
Step 2 – Test the right brake lever
Press the right brake lever and check whether the brake warning symbol appears on the display.
If the brake symbol appears
The right brake signal is being detected.
If the brake symbol does not appear
The right brake signal may not be reaching the scooter.
This next step requires further inspection of the brake lever wiring and display main cable. Please contact support with a video showing the right brake lever being pressed and the display not showing the brake symbol.
Scooter Keeps Accelerating When Braking
This is a serious fault. Do not continue riding.
Possible causes:
Wiring connection issue
Controller issue
Step 1 – Check which motor keeps accelerating
Lift the scooter safely so both wheels are off the ground.
Slowly apply throttle, then press either brake lever.
If the rear motor brakes but the front motor keeps accelerating
Do not ride the scooter.
This next step requires further inspection of the front drive controller and wiring. Please contact support with a video of the test.
If the front motor brakes but the rear motor keeps accelerating
Do not ride the scooter.
This next step requires further inspection of the rear drive controller and wiring. Please contact support with a video of the test.
One Motor Does Not Turn and Has Resistance
This means one motor is not spinning normally and has resistance when turned by hand.
Possible causes:
Motor issue
Controller issue
Internal motor phase wiring issue
Step 1 – Stop riding
Do not continue riding with motor resistance.
Turn the scooter off.
Step 2 – Check which motor has resistance
Carefully rotate the front and rear wheels by hand.
If the front motor does not turn and has resistance
This next step requires further inspection of the front motor and B controller. Please contact support with a video showing the front wheel resistance.
If the rear motor does not turn and has resistance
This next step requires further inspection of the rear motor and A controller. Please contact support with a video showing the rear wheel resistance.
Scooter Powers On, But Front and Rear Motors Do Not Turn
This means the scooter powers on but does not drive when the throttle is pressed.
Possible causes:
Display fault code
Loose or bent connector pins
Display issue
Throttle signal issue
Main cable issue
Controller issue
Step 1 – Check for a fault code
Turn the scooter on and check the LT01 display.
If there is a fault code
Troubleshoot the fault code first.
If there is no fault code
Continue to Step 2.
Step 2 – Check visible connectors
With the scooter turned off, check any safely visible waterproof connectors for loose plugs, bent copper pins, damage, dirt, or corrosion.
If a connector is loose
Reconnect it carefully without forcing it, then test again.
If a connector is damaged or pins are bent
Do not force it together. Contact support with clear photos.
If the connectors look normal and the issue remains
This next step requires further inspection of the display, throttle signal, main cable, and A controller. Please contact support with the photos/videos listed below.
Rear Wheel Turns But Front Wheel Does Not Turn
This means the rear motor works, but the front motor does not drive.
Possible causes:
Front motor resistance
Single/dual drive switch connection issue
Single/dual drive switch issue
B controller issue
Front motor issue
Step 1 – Check for front motor resistance
Turn the scooter off.
Rotate the front wheel by hand.
If the front wheel has resistance
Do not ride the scooter. Go to One Motor Does Not Turn and Has Resistance.
If the front wheel does not have resistance
Continue to Step 2.
Step 2 – Check the single/dual drive switch behaviour
Turn the scooter on and check whether changing the single/dual drive mode changes the motor behaviour.
If the front motor starts working
Monitor the scooter.
If the rear motor still works but the front motor does not
This next step requires further inspection of the single/dual drive switch, wiring, B controller, and front motor. Please contact support with a video showing the rear wheel turning and the front wheel not turning.
Battery Drains Quickly or Range Is Very Low
This means the battery may charge quickly but run flat after a short distance.
Possible causes:
Charger issue
Battery issue
Step 1 – Check charging behaviour
Fully charge the scooter and note the charger light behaviour.
If the charger does not behave normally
Contact support with a video of the charger light.
If the charger appears normal but the battery charges very quickly and runs flat after a short distance
The battery may require further inspection. Contact support with the photos/videos listed below.
When To Contact Support
Contact support if:
The issue remains after the basic checks
You are unsure how to complete a step
The scooter keeps accelerating while braking
The scooter has motor resistance
The scooter has visible damage
There was water exposure, crash, impact, modification, or third-party repair
