PRE-RIDE CHECKS
Handlebar toggle check
Before every ride:
- Do not squeeze the handlebar toggles during this check.
- With the handlebars in their unfolded position, use a flat-ended pen or pencil to firmly push the toggle away from the middle of the handlebars.
- The toggles are faulty if they can be pushed to the end of the narrow slot.
- Repeat this step three times.
- Repeat the check on all four toggles.
- If any of the four toggles fail, contact customer services.
General pre-ride checks
- Check that all screws and bolts are tight, especially those of the handlebar, hinge, brakes, and front and rear wheel.
- Check tyre pressures are within the 36–50 PSI range.
- Regenerative braking on the rear wheel may be reduced when the battery is fully charged, especially at the start of a downhill ride, to protect the battery.
- Ensure the front drum brake is properly adjusted before setting off.
MAINTENANCE
- Thoroughly clean the scooter with a damp cloth after each use.
- If there is looseness in the latch, stem, or footpad hinge mechanisms, contact local support immediately.
- Always check tyre pressures before riding.
- Lower tyre pressures within the recommended range provide a more comfortable ride.
- Higher tyre pressures within the recommended range provide the most efficient performance.
STORAGE
- Store the scooter in a dry place away from direct sunlight.
- Recharge the battery every month if left unused.
- Never store above 50°C or below -20°C.
- Cold temperatures reduce battery capacity and impact range.
CLEANING
- Clean with a slightly damp sponge or cloth.
- Dry afterwards with a towel.
- Do not use excessive water.
- Do not use harsh substances such as degreasers.
- Never use a pressure washer.
REPAIRS
